Angela is an acoustic pianist/singer
with a rich warm sound. Her performance

Angela is a strong piano player
and performs as a solo entertainer as
well as performing duos, trios along
with numerous bands with an array of
very talented musicians. She is the
perfect performer also for lounge and
cocktail music as she can take request
for a lively piano bar. Angela's
repertoire is whatever the venue
requires...she is an accomplished,
trained musician and sight reader. This
is always a plus when performing with
other musicians.

Angela's versatile talent as a
entertainer, performer, dancer, pianist
and singer has landed her first place in
the regional Miss Virginia/Miss America
pageant. With her charm, musical talents
and stage presence, Angela has also
appeared in TV commercials which
exhibited her talent as a prismatic
performer and entertainer.
Performing Universal Studios
at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville
was a highlight in Angela's career.
Appearing before thousands at the annual
4th of July Celebration for the City of
Virginia Beach , Angela played in a
rock/pop band
keyboards/vocals as the opening act for recording artist Yankee
Grey and also in a
variety of exciting concerts and venues
performing and traveling the USA.
Angela
had the honor of performing as solo
pianist/singer and
entertainment for Jean Stapleton
at the opening night reception dinner
and cocktail event for the Broadway
production of Eleanor: Her Secret Journey.
Always exploring new adventures in music
Angela has traveled and performed with
some of the finest musicians based out
of the Eastern United States. Among
highlights of Angela's career she has
had the privilege of performing with an
array of talented musicians. Among
which is an original musician of the
Santana "family band"
members.
Musical entertainment has always been Angela's passion
in life. In the studio or on
stage...Angela has been performing her love of
music... playing the piano,
singing and dancing since the early age of
three.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Angela grew
up on the East Coast where her love and
appreciation of all music comes from her
upbringing. She was born into a family
of musical talent where music was apart
of everyday life. Her father was a great
inspiration as he always listened to the
fabulous entertainers, musicians and
singers as he was familiar with "all
the greats" and their music. In
addition she was very gifted
musically...with the sounds of the
piano, guitar and vocals. Always
entertaining with all styles of
music from jazz and gospel, to the classic
blues.
Angela began studying dance
and music at a young age at the Eva May Morris Dance
Studio where she performed at
Chrysler Hall and The Center Theatre/The
Harrison Opera House. Angela's piano and
music theory study began at the age of
five with the Larry A.
Williams School of Music where she
performed in many studio and student
recitals throughout the area and also
performing at The Chrysler Museum of Art
Auditorium in Norfolk, Virginia.
Angela had to unique
opportunity to study and perform
with fellow
musician Janice White Hayen, a most
accomplished pianist.
Showing exceptional talent
Angela
competed annually in The National Piano Playing
Auditions Guild U.S.A. Angela was also accepted
into membership of the Art
Publication Society of St Louis,
Missouri and also a member of Pi Mu for her
outstanding accomplishments and
musicianship. She
attended Lindenwood University in St.
Charles,
Missouri to study music, music theory and piano.
In the early years of Angela's music
career as a music director and educator
she taught private piano and music
theory in the Angela's School
of Music where her students would
perform piano recitals of musical
productions at The Chrysler Museum of
Art Auditorium in Norfolk, Virginia.
Angela
taught music instruction and voice where
she produced. directed and choreographed
numerous
musical productions in the public school
system of Virginia Beach, Virginia and The Outer Banks of North
Carolina. She also has taught as an
Instructor of Music Study and Piano at a
college in Virginia.
"I always knew that my love of music and
dance would be my passion in life, it
reflects how I feel and how I wish to
share myself with others. I have so many
incredible memories of all the great
times and wonderful people I have had
the opportunity to entertain, I am so blessed."
Angela was a featured guest artist in
the production of "Friends In
Music...Back To The City"
Volume II.
Angela played keyboards in the group
"Mowbray Arch". The group of
musicians include Woody Nordan, guitar;
Jack Armistead, tenor guitar; Angela
Furr, keyboards; Nicky Bonis, bass; Tony
Mirabile, drums; Peggy Debellis Bruce,
Diana Berry and Jennifer Phiipps,
vocals. The song recorded "Maybe It
Doesn't Matter", words and music by
Jack Armistead, was recorded at Clay
Garden Studio.
As a versatile pianist and vocalist,
Angela's forte is her
instrumental and vocal interpretations
of the fabulous jazz standards and the
way in which she improvises the popular
songs of today.
Recently performing in Dubai in
the Middle East the welcomed
reception and appreciation of her
musical abilities were always
complimented as well the musical
selections and requests of the audience.
Angela has had the opportunity to
perform in
the most prestigious dinner clubs, piano
bars,
restaurants, hotels, private clubs, universities,
lounges, concerts, cocktail and dinner parties
Internationally, in
the USA and beyond.... Having the
pleasure to perform and compose her life
as a pianist/singer.
